On May 25th, Prof. Christina Slade, Vice Chancellor of Bath Spa University, Jeremy White, Director of International Office and other three delegation members visited SIT. Lu Guanzhong, the President of SIT, and Ye Yinzhong, the Vice President of SIT met the delegation. Representatives from School of Art and Design, School of Continuing Education and International Relations Office joined the meeting.
President Lu warmly welcomed the visitation of Professor Slade. The president introduced the development history of SIT, discipline construction and the basic information of international communication. President Lu extended the wish of strengtheningcooperation between two parties. During the meeting, Porfessor Slade also introduced the history, culture and specialty features of BSU. Two presidents reached the agreement that two parties should actively look for the opportunity for cooperation and practicing exchange programs. Later, two presidents signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.
After the meeting, with the company of VP Ye, the delegation visited the Fashion &Creative Studio of School of Art and Design, the painting exhibition of graduate students and other related exhibitions. The delegation visited School of Continuing Education as well. After a series of visits, the delegation had a deeper understanding of the fields which both sides could conduct exchanges and cooperation.
